Black Root Pouch Twin Packs

28 reviews

Growers/Gardeners often choose to grow in containers when space for a traditional soil garden is limited or has undesirable traits like little sun or poor soil. Containers also offer an alternative food source for the health and environmentally conscious urbanite with access to a sunny balcony or apartment rooftop.

Either way when space is limited and your garden needs to be ‘contained’ it is important to remember that just because space is limited doesn’t mean that your growing options have to be. Root Pouch fabric containers are perfect for the urban/ home grower.

The Root Pouch Black line is a durable, semi-degradable Root Pouch. Root Pouch is the only fabric container company that offers natural fibre blended fabrics in sizes to suit all types of growing you'll be enjoying the fruits of your labour in no time.

These are made of recycled, post-consumer PETE water bottles. This material is melted back to a sterile liquid state then spun into fibres; however, the semi-degradable range is mixed with natural fibres, which degrade making them perfect for eventual transfer into a  permanent garden bed or for commercial growing. Please note that only the natural fibres are bio-degradable. 260 gsm, Semi-degradable 4-5 year bag and is suitable for above ground, pot-in-pot and in-ground applications.

Our Black range of Root Pouches come in a convenient and handy pack of 2 grow bags. See the stellar verified reviews below!

Measurements and volumes are approximate and may vary due to the hand machining of the bags; also the quantity, compaction and type of soil used.

Plant portability

Love the root pouches. I can move them if I need to easily on my own. Handles are very strong. They are adaptable in that you don’t have to fill the whole pouch but can roll down the top to the height desired. So far my citrus are loving their new homes in the pouches.

Great pots!

I ordered the garden bed root pots aswell as some normal root pouches and I am absolutely in love with them! My plants are already thriving after just a couple of weeks in them! Can't wait to order some more!

Great product

I have ordered these for myself and as Christmas gifts, along with the Olla pots. Great products! The Root Pouches are very versatile, well made and do a fantastic job! They are also an attractive addition to the garden or balcony. Thank you Up on the Roof Top for showing me a different, kinder way to garden!

Quality products as described!

I purchased multiple Black Root Pouches to start a small balcony garden. I am pleased with the quality and the sustainable packaging of the items. The pouches are perfect for small spaces like mine, and I believe that these will come along with me for the next years if we have to move to another place! Thank you, Wendy and team! x

Black root pouches

Quick delivery, excellent product , I have several of these now and have grown a variety of produce in them from herbs to root vegetables. These two will be used to grow 2 different varieties of potatoes this season, last season we got a good little crop of potatoes from one bag.
